Knowledge assistant for software teams

Knorra watches your team's knowledge so nothing goes stale, duplicated, or lost.

It reads your Confluence, Jira, Slack, and Google Workspace (read-only) and surfaces what needs attention, with the reasoning always shown.

Why teams need this

A team's knowledge doesn't fail loudly. It fails in the corners no one looks at.

~ 3 months
Documentation goes stale and no one notices.

Runbooks, onboarding docs, architecture notes. They drift from reality and the team keeps using them.

Two people solve the same problem in two places.

A customer ask answered in Slack on Tuesday. The same question answered again in Confluence on Friday. Neither author knows.

The same question gets re-asked every week.

There's an answer somewhere in your sources. Nobody can find it, so it gets asked, and answered, and lost again.

How it works

Three steps. You stay in control of every one.

Step 01

Connect your sources.

Read-only OAuth to Confluence, Jira, Slack, and Google Docs. Granular per-source. Revocable at any time.

Step 02

Knorra watches, quietly.

It builds an evolving map of your knowledge surface, what's recent, what's drifting, what's overlapping. No actions taken. No data trained.

Step 03

You act on findings.

Each finding shows its confidence, its evidence, and the model trail behind it. Approve, dismiss, or hand it to its owner, your choice, every time.

How a finding works

Five steps you can see, every time.

Every finding earns its place by walking the same path: read, embed, match, verify, surface. The trail is shown in the UI on every finding, with the evidence at each step.

  1. 01
    Extracted
    Read the source. Read-only.
We never write back without explicit approval.
  2. 02
    Embedded
Convert passages to vectors locally in your tenant.
Your text never leaves your data residency region.
  3. 03
    Matched
Find candidate overlaps via similarity + heuristics.
Matches show all evidence. No black-box scores.
  4. 04
    Verified
A second model independently confirms the match.
Two models must agree before anything is surfaced.
  5. 05
    Surfaced
Finding goes to people with access to both sides.
    Scope respects each source's permissions.
The product

A dashboard that lets the product's calm speak for itself.

What Knorra detects

One detector live today. A second on the way.

Doc decay and duplication is live now. Hover its example to step through real findings it has surfaced for early teams. Work overlap detection is coming next.

Detector 01live

Doc decay & duplication

Watches Confluence and Google Docs for documents that have drifted from reality, contradict each other, or restate the same answer in different places.

  • Flags drift between code, runbooks, and onboarding docs.
  • Detects near-duplicate passages across docs and spaces.
  • Shows the diff. Never edits without your approval.

Confluence · Eng wiki
incident-response.md references Pagerduty webhook v1. The service was migrated to v2 in March (per change log).

Work overlap across customers

Coming next. Will watch Jira, Jira Service Management, and Slack for the same problem being solved twice, once for one customer, once for another, without the second team knowing. The previews below show the kind of finding it will surface.

  • Will compare ticket bodies and resolution notes across customers.
  • Will surface shared root causes, never customer PII.
  • Findings will stay scoped to people who have access to both sides.

Ticket ACME-412 and ticket BOLD-198 both describe a CSV import timing out at 50k rows. Resolutions diverged. Worth comparing.
Trust & security

The serious, careful one.

Giving an AI tool read access to your company's documents is a real decision. Here is exactly what we do, and what we never do.

Never trains on your data.

Your documents are not used to train models, ours or anyone else's. Contractually and architecturally.

Read-only access, by default.

Knorra requests the narrowest read scopes a connector offers. Write scopes are opt-in, per source.

You see and approve every action.

Findings are surfaced, never applied. No silent edits, no background agents acting on your data.

Personal-source findings stay private.

Anything sourced from a personal Google Drive is visible only to that person. Never team-wide.

Never reads your Gmail.

Email is out of scope. We don't ask for it, we don't index it, we won't add it.

Sub-processors fully disclosed.

Every sub-processor is listed. Email notice goes out 30 days before any change.

UK / EU data residency.

Knorra SaaS runs on EU/UK infrastructure. Enterprise customers can choose a dedicated independent deployment with the region of their choice.

SOC 2 Type II underway.

Audited annually. Current report and penetration tests available under NDA.

Connectors

Where your knowledge already lives.

Read-only OAuth in every case. Personal-account sources keep findings scoped to you alone.
